The Enviro Group takes action in a bid to improve the school’s physical environment. They spend time preparing and presenting at numerous school assemblies, as they want to encourage their peers to recycle and care for their school environment. The students regularly work in the vegetable gardens, preparing and planting the beds. They also recycle organic waste into the school’s worm farm.

Bi-annually the students collect all the school’s rubbish over 24 hours, and then do a waste audit to see how effective the school has been at recycling and reducing waste.

The students in this group are continually devising ways to make our local environment cleaner and the school community more conscious of their responsibilities.
